Open Pantry
by Open PantryOur productAI order capture inside a full wholesale platform — the captured order carries straight through to customer price lists, pick and pack, FEFO, delivery runs, credits, invoicing and the accounts, with a person approving the draft first.
What it does well
- The captured order does not stop at the order desk. It becomes a pick list, a delivery run, an invoice and an accounting entry in the same system, so nobody re-keys it a second time downstream.
- Catch-weight, pack conversions and per-customer contract pricing are applied at capture, which is where most order-entry mistakes in fresh food actually happen.
- Prices are published. You can work out what it costs before speaking to anyone.
- Above the confidence threshold you set, orders place themselves; lower the bar only once you trust the matching on your own catalogue.
Where it is weaker
- There is no live voice line. Choco’s VoiceAgent answers a phone call in real time; Open Pantry reads the voicemail afterwards.
- It is a whole platform, not a layer. If you are keeping an ERP you are happy with and only want the typing gone, a capture-only product is a smaller change.
- The team is Australian. The product is priced in 46 countries, but there is no US or European office.
Best for: An Australian or New Zealand food wholesaler who wants the AI and the rest of the operation — ordering, picking, delivery, invoicing, accounts — in one system rather than stitched together.
