About Open Pantry
Open Pantry makes wholesale ordering software for food and beverage suppliers, and ordering, menu-costing and inventory tools for the restaurants, cafes, bars and pubs they supply. We were founded in 2018 to connect restaurants to their wholesale suppliers: even with online ordering around, chefs still didn’t like using it, so we set out to make ordering faster and easier than an email or a call.
Who Open Pantry is for
Suppliers. Food and beverage wholesalers and distributors — butchers and meat, poultry, seafood, smallgoods, bakery, dairy, fruit and vegetables, coffee and tea, beer, wine and liquor, and dry goods. They get their own branded ordering app and online store, and orders flow straight into picking, delivery, invoicing and accounting.
Venues. Restaurants, cafes, bars, pubs, quick-service, catering and production kitchens that want to order from every supplier in one place and know what each dish really costs.
Open Pantry is not a marketplace. A supplier’s customers order under the supplier’s own brand and see only that supplier’s catalogue and prices, and we take no percentage of order value. Today 600+ suppliers and 5,000+ venues use Open Pantry.

A branded web store and ordering app, with orders arriving by app, web store, rep ordering on behalf and EDI — and on Enterprise, email, SMS and WhatsApp orders read by AI into draft orders. Free ordering for venues
Unlimited orders across unlimited suppliers, pantry lists, order reminders and standing orders, free for the venue and opened by a supplier invitation.
Menu Profit Manager
Menu costing bought once: AI invoice scanning, recipe import from spreadsheets and photos, live profit per dish and price-spike alerts. A one-time payment for lifetime access, with a 30-day money-back guarantee.
Restaurant Pro Suite
The monthly plan for venues that want automated inventory and stocktake, ordering back to par levels, POS integration and reporting on sales, cost, waste and variance. Current prices for each country are on restaurant pricing.
Where we operate
Australia is our home market. We also publish localised pricing, currency and tax for New Zealand, the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, Ireland and Singapore. Our free supplier directory lists more than 6,500 wholesale food and beverage suppliers across Australia, New Zealand, the United States, Canada, Ireland and Singapore.

Integrations
Suppliers get two-way accounting sync with Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks, Sage and Zoho Books, card payments through Stripe, EDI purchase orders set up per trading partner, and ERP integrations on Enterprise. Venues send reviewed supplier invoices to Xero, QuickBooks and MYOB as bills, and Triniteq PowerEPOS connects directly to pull the day’s sales into recipes.
